Hello World!

About Me: My name is Brian Esserlieu, currently I am employed at Salesforce in San Francisco.  I started this blog in my last quarter of school at University of California, San Diego, where I completed a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science. I enjoy working (maybe too much).  Obviously, not as much as I should on this blog. 🙂

Hobbies: First and foremost I am a Software Engineer.  I am specifically interested in web development, software architecture, and game and mobile development.  Additional hobbies: audio books, gaming, gadgets (see technophile).

Purpose: I started a blog to try get a few ideas out there about finishing school, entering the programming arena as a “degree-certified” programmer, and to store/comment on other potentially useful things I come across on my day-to-day adventures around the web.
